Talos and the Ichor Injector

Am I ready this correctly. If a Talos takes the Ichor Injector upgrade, he'll be wounding on 2+ with an AP2 weapon that causes instant death on "6's"? (AP2 coming from the Smash USR)

That is correct, you can go hunt MC's now. Put Taloi together and you'll have a decent shot at insta-gibbin', if needed.

That's exactly right, I took down a Trigon Prime with one yesterday, and three wounds off a Hive Tyrant despite making a disordered charge against the two units.

Funny really, cos in previous editions MC vs Walker was pretty much a guaranteed win for the MC, due to rolling 2d6 for armour pen, generally with S6+ and multiple attacks.

I forgot about the changes and tried to take down a defiler with the Dark Artisan formation. What a bad idea it was...

That´s my built too, so GOOOOOOD! More Talos for me please! If i ever have the monies, that five Talos unit is so in and shoving the Ichors down Mephistons throat! Take that for instagibbing my Wraithknights! Smile

Still, Force is the only thing scaring me..

@murdock how come the to wound is on 2+? Due top three flesh gauntlet?
