GV Escalation ligue 1000 - Dark Eldar Vs Tau

Hi citizen,

Here a small battle report  of the 1000 pt game I had against a Tau player in the frame of an escalation ligue.

DEPLOIEMENT


The Tau player deploied his HQ+ fire warrior in the left by the ruin and the foot pathfinder in the upper level. The Broadside and 2 crisis unit in the low ruin in the middle by the Objective 2, the devilfish to the left of the last ruin and the remaining firewarrior to the right. The piranhas, the 1 crisis unit and the Stealth Team reamin in reserve.

I deploied only a 5 kabalite unit and the reavers.

TURN 1 - Tau

Tau get Recon. The HQ+ fire warrior move toward objective 4 and the other fire warrior move toward objective 5. The crisis move on the central tower and devilfish move toward the objective 3.
On the fire phase he only mark my reavers with the pathfinder.


Turn 1 - DE
I get SO1 (done by the kabalite)
The scalpel squadron arrive on 2 Hit from DS behind his HQ unit. The wracks disembark, one toward the ruins and one toward the objective 4. The reavers move and flat out behind the hill. The 2 venoms remove the HQ fire warrior unit (first blood for 3 pt) forcing his warlord to fall back behind the ruin.



DE 4 - Tau 0

Game ended after turn 1 with dark eldar victory?

TURN 2 - Tau
He get SO2 twice (done by his broadside)
Only the piranhas arrived from  reserve this turn and fired on the wracks with no damage. The Warlord succeed in his rally but stay in place. The devilfish came back and unload its pathfinder unit and the fail on the wracks. The broadside and the crisis only remove 2 reavers.




TURN 2 - DE
I get SO2 twice also.
All my reserve arrived. The Archon with the trueborn by the objective 2 (scoring 2 pts) and remove the Broadside. the Haemonculus with the meadusae by the ruin and remove the pathfinder unit. The wrack charge the pathfinder in the ruin and loose 2 by the overwatch but finish the unit in CC.
The Reaver charge his warlord and the arena champion kill in with it HoW (1 pt). The raider arrive near objecive 5 and fire upon the firewarrior leaving only 1 alive but he missed his morale and fall back.


DE 7 - Tau 2

TURN 3 - Tau
He didn't get any new card and no reserve arrive.
The Crisis came down the tower to reveal Objective 6 and fire on the reavers removing 2 and making the last one fall back. the devilfish move behind the tree toward objective 3 and do nothing on the raider (jink). The piranah to nothing either.



TURN3 - DE
I get SO4 (the wrack), Fear and Terror (the crisis), Overwhelming firepower.
both venom move toward the Crisis and remove one, making the other one fall back. Tha wrack get outside the ruins toward the Crisis. The Archon separate from the true born to fire with his blaster on the  piranha doing nothing. the true born fire upon the devilfish removing 1HP. The medusae fire upon the piranhas removing 1 HP. The raider go behind the devilfish but miss with the desintegrator canon.



DE 9 - Tau 2

TURN 4 - Tau
No new card, Stealth unit arrive with a hit on the objective 3 getting Recon then move behind the ruin in the CC phase.
The Piranha kill my archon (getting StWL) and the Crisis continue to fall back. The devilfish do nothing on the raider.



TURN 4 - DE
I get No Escape and Hunger for Glory (both done + line breaker).
The medusae finish the piranhas and the wrack charge the crisis and kill it. The kabalites disembark toward the Stealth and kill one, the venom move also and fire on them and kill another. The rermaining fail its morale and fall back.

DE 12 - Tau 4

We decide to finish here. I lost 2 wrack, the reavers and the Archon. The Tau only remain with the Devilfish and the Crisis in reserve.
