| Hi guys,
for those that are interested I've done a couple of articles on what weapons are most efficient against various troop types.
Thought I'd share here as there may be some interest:
T4 3+ Save
Invisibility
Conclusions I think are interesting and different to what you'd think... _________________ Why not follow along with the progress of my Dark Eldar Wych Cult Kabal at Two Times Two Hobby Time

| Nice to have. Would you be willing to also do the same calculations against guardsmen, ork, terminator profiles? Then the embrace gets to shine against the low save targets.
With the way those weapons work I could see the kiss modeled as a spear, embrace as claws or paired blades, and caress as a net. Or using wych models that count as 'em: impaler, chain flails and hydra blades, and shardnet. | |

| I've done that math on the final one in the series mate.
It's here:
http://twotimestwohobbytime.blogspot.com/2015/03/harlequin-weapon-math-anti-tank-and.html
The embrace is decent, but I think people have jumped to conclusions before doing the math, and without considering the second round of combat (you want to be in) _________________ Why not follow along with the progress of my Dark Eldar Wych Cult Kabal at Two Times Two Hobby Time

| Like the latest batrep on your blog Rich, though as you note, it seems your list was nastier than your opponent's! _________________ Tan? You're joking, I'm a gamer, you're lucky I'm wearing deodorant!

| Thanks bud, yea I felt a bit bad really, he had a really fluffy list which was never gona win that game.
He's a mate so we had a laugh but was kinda brutal.
Will post the other one up tomorrow now I think. Next one is against Guard and 45 Guardsmen with a Wyvern _________________ Why not follow along with the progress of my Dark Eldar Wych Cult Kabal at Two Times Two Hobby Time

I'm guessing oww? I hate those wyverns, I faced 4 in a 1500pt game when I was still testing units out under the new codex - they made mincemeat of a large proportion of my army, including disappearing 6 reavers on turn 2! _________________ Tan? | I'm always burning, haha (well, my eyes at least)!
Ok I'll give up on the bad jokes for a bit. At least 5 minutes.
Tomorrow will be fine, I don't work on Friday afternoons so I can look forward to reading it in a relaxed fashion. _________________ Tan? You're joking, I'm a gamer, you're lucky I'm wearing deodorant!

| Well played sir! Not enthused by your opponent's list again, but I suppose with 400pts to play with there's not a whole lot he can do - I'd have been tempted in his place to go with veteran squads i think, the extra pt of BS is huge. I feared for you when I saw those autocannons but you're right, his lack of mobility definitely hurt him. For a while I wondered why you were angling for a side armour shot on the wyvern, then I realised you've got disintegrators on the raiders . Oh well, my fault for not readin gthe list properly, I never take my raiders out of the garage without lances on them (I like lances, I just wish they were twin-linkable!) _________________ Tan? | yea I prefer the lances but points were tight and I normally jink the raiders most of the time.
I find the DC is decent anti infantry and light vehicle, whereas the kabalites take out anything heavier, I'm limited with only 3 blasters, but it's only 400 points at this stage _________________ Why not follow along with the progress of my Dark Eldar Wych Cult Kabal at Two Times Two Hobby Time
