3 x Grotesque, or Talos + Crypt Horrors?

Hi!

Well, there i was, staring either a total of 63€ for the Grotesques or 66€ (independent retailer having a bit discount...) for the Talos + the Crypt Horrors from Fantasy...guess, which won?  

Daddy didn´t raise no punks! Of course a little conversion work and get two units with almost the price of one! Had a game today, so i painted the Grots in one day to (yesterday) make the Grotesguerie! Too much painting for me in a day, but did paint Haemie too anywayz...

Thank you! I´ve since that used Chaos Spawn models with success too. They are of ocurse not so cost effective, but had an extra pack laying around

I have been eyeing those spawns for a Talos... any idea the physical size of it?

I only just realised, but you have your Grots. on too small a base, your not allowed to make bases smaller than the ones that come in the Citadel Minatures equivalent. You can make them bigger all you want, just not smaller.

Yeah, that might be true. Haven´t had any problems in games thou...

As long as your Meta doesn't get 'shirty' about it, it doesn't matter.

Tactically does it make a difference? Larger base, more things that can be 'in base contact?'

I'm not that sure tbh.

Love them. Did you manage to make a very sparse talos out of this or did all the parts go into these awesome grotesques.
