Advice needed to create / convert Talos?

I’m looking to make two talos, to bring my collection up to five for a corpse thief claw formation. I’ve recently got hold of the tyranid sprues from the shield of Baal box set and I’m slowly painting them up to sell on.

However, I was thinking about using the spare carapace pieces from the carnifex as a base to convert up two talos and was wondering what people thought / if anyone could give me ideas regarding sorting the body section out. (I realise that the carapace will require some cutting down to shape). I’m probably going to use the spare tails from the tyranids as tails weapon mounts. I’ve still got the spare bits from one talos (the other spares bits from two of the talos went on conserving up five grotesques from rat orges and WHF minotaurs).

Any thoughts / ideas / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
