I'm told the middle one is not an official model, but a test they did partly to test the colour scheme.
(You can tell its not going to be a released model from the size of the Dreadnought arm under its foot)

And yet oddly I find myself preferring the smaller one......

Also, Magnus appears to have two eyes (in his head, a oddly a third in the palm of his hand.....)

Looks okay, I guess.
Maybe one of his eye sockets is empty.

I found this photo on Dakka from a 40k Open Day. Apparently the kit comes with two different heads. One looks like cyclops Magnus, while the other has two eye sockets but only an eye in one of them.

OOo thats interesting.
The extra sword (love it) akes me wonder - multiple possible Magni? Similar to the three possible Bloodthirsters? That would be awesome.

Rules are now out. Magnus looks like an absolute beast, level 5 psyker, harnesses on 2+ and ignores perils! Plus he's got an 18" Str D Beam power. Okay it's WC5 but for him that just means throwing 6-7 dice at it. Oh, and he ignores Line of Sight.

650 points but I wouldn't mind trying him out and the model is beautiful!

Still, I imagine 650 pts of dual SC venoms should be able to deal with this. Doesnt he also know all powers that he as access to? So instant invis, etc?

Totally agree but sadly 40K became Apocalypse Lite a few years back and I can't see it changing back.

He should have a 3+ save pretty much constantly and 2+ is fairly easy to get plus he will be flying so it will still take a pretty huge amount of firepower to bring him down.

He does know all his powers but he's limited to Tzeentch and Change powers so no Invisibility.
