DE 1500 single faction tournament list

Hi all,

Long time lurker, first time poster. I have a 1500 point tournament coming up next weekend and I'd appreciate your input on which of these two lists is better and/or how I could improve upon them. This tournament was advertised as a beginner friendly tournament but I've already seen people practicing for it with a ton of gorgonzola. It is single faction but that won't stop a lot of people from cheesing as hard as possible. Anyways...

List 1 - CTC reaver/venom msu

With list 2 I had some left over points, hence the arena champion agonizer and extra sybarite.

Liquidifier gun might be a waste? I've never had experience with it. Also I can move some things around to take a agonizer instead of archite glaive on succubus. This list might not be the most competitive...

Before a mod comes and tells you to: Remove all the point costs for bodies. We know that and don't want to get sued. Just post the point costs for the full unit after upgrades.

To answer your question: No. BUT there is absolutely no reason for you to be running 5x Warrior squads in a RRD. You've already demonstrated a willingness to run multiple detachments so why aren't you just running a double CAD?

Same number of venoms, all the same other stuff you actually want, 45pts cheaper and 4 of your venoms and warriors are now obsec.

Better?

Yeah but double check your points on list 2. You kept all five squads AND added a lhamaen and a venom. My version kept you at 6 total venoms, if your numbers were right before you should be 74pts over.

To answer the either or question now: I prefer list 2 but I know that a lot of people swear by variations on list 1. How vehicle heavy is your community?

Ah you are right I need another hq for the second cad I will edit.

Also, I'm playing in an unfamiliar local meta. From what I've seen though, lots of infantry heavy armies (daemonkin, eldar warpspiders/bikes) hence the corpsethief claw. I do love CTC but I understand the criticisms of it. Plus people are not used to seeing it so they focus it while bikes and venoms take objectives. Not to mention the VP or two from let the harvest begin.
