| For some reason I'm absolutely all over the place with the Visarch. I'm painting stuff in the wrong order, changing my mind over colours and generally making hard work of it. I've changed my mind/screwed up the painting of his sword so much that I'm going to have to strip it and start again! Fortunately it's not glued on yet! _________________ You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting. In what world could you possibly beat me? | |

However i may segway and get my 3 grotesques painted that were converted from ogryns as i love them. Also vow to get pictures up on my brand new project log _________________ Check out my combined Aeldari Project Log

| Yvraine is coming along nicely and should be finished shortly. Quick WIP of her faithful Gyrinx, Cringer aka Battlekitten. _________________ You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting. In what world could you possibly beat me? | |

| How have I missed this? Your Visarch looks amazing Count it'll come as no surprise I'm sure, but I adore the bone coloured armour. It works really nicely with the rich purple and electric blue as well. _________________ Check out may pan-Eldar projects Exodites, Corsairs, Craftworld, True Kin, Croneworld (soon) and one Shadowseer!: http://www.thedarkcity.net/t14405-corsairs-exodites-craftworlders-and-hopefully-kabalites-soon | |

| Thank you! I like the official red colour scheme but as a collector of KDK and Blood Angels, as well as Skorne (for Hordes) I just couldn't face painting another red army! _________________ You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting. Wow, I love this color scheme! It looks so noble. _________________ Eldar Alliance: Kabal of the Wraithkind / Craftworld Iyanden / Masque of the Veiled Path / Ynnari Aetheriders (Log) Slaanesh Force: Chaos Daemons / Emperor's Children (both 30k & 40k) / Heretek Metalica

Hah, that makes a lot of sense I'm kinda looking forward to painting my Croneworlders as a bit of a break from the earth tones, red and gold that I do everything in... Plus, I always thought that red was a little odd of a colour to paint an Eldar Death Cult it. Doesn't seem to fit. I know some cultures associate different colours with death than us westerners (Japan and white is the prime example), but I can't even find a particular reference to red being associated with death ~(or even rebirth) anywhere in the Eldar background. It just seems to me that they just thought 'yeah, red's a neat colour' and did that. It's about as imaginative as 'The Shrine of the Scarlet Incubi'. Sometimes I wish I could score a job as an Eldar fluff/imagination consultant... _________________ Check out may pan-Eldar projects Exodites, Corsairs, Craftworld, True Kin, Croneworld (soon) and one Shadowseer!: http://www.thedarkcity.net/t14405-corsairs-exodites-craftworlders-and-hopefully-kabalites-soon | |

| I failed. Again. I blame work and the thrice damned Scourge bat-wings. Redid them twice, now each looks different, still not sure what to do with them... _________________ Archon of the Kabal of the Burning Misery Thanks for making the Djinn Blade great for once | |

| Nice! I like how you've painted her skin tone as if it's glowing with the same energy as the Yncarne nice touch _________________ Check out may pan-Eldar projects Exodites, Corsairs, Craftworld, True Kin, Croneworld (soon) and one Shadowseer!: http://www.thedarkcity.net/t14405-corsairs-exodites-craftworlders-and-hopefully-kabalites-soon | |

| Yeah, I really like the skin tone, and the paint job overall is top notch. Really nice shading on the dress. Also, I didn't mention it before, but I thought your Visarch paintjob was amazing. I really like the bone armour look! I do have 1 small criticism though. Nothing to do with your actual paintjob, but for some reason that sash Yvraine is wearing just seems a bit flat. I can tell you've shaded it, and so it isn't a problem of technique. I think that it's the colour itself sort of not jiving well with the purple of the dress. I noticed that it appears to be the same red colour you used on the visarch's midsection, where it works well and looks good because it contrasts well with white, but against the purple backdrop it looks much more dull. It still looks good. If it were me, I'd probably just try to make the red a bit more vibrant. But if it were me, my model would either still be unpainted, or look like crap because I'm an awful painter, so you win there! | |
