Where can I find the rules for Shadow War: Armageddon?

I haven't really been following this boxed game too closely, as I'd prefer to play 40k, but since 8th is coming out and I was in the process of getting a friend interested in the game, I don't want to teach him all the 7th edition stuff right before 8th comes out, so I'm taking a look at this.

Were the rules released online for free for certain factions? I am finding some mention of downloadable rules for free on GW's website, but when I look for them on the GW site or try to find more info, no dice.

I saw mention that rules for DE weren't included in the original boxed game, and that they were available "elsewhere", but it doesn't say what "elsewhere" means, and just seems to be peddling pre-orders for the new rulebook.

Help, links, and/or explanation appreciated.

The rulebook is $40 and the faction specific stuff is for free somewhere on their website. Personally though /tg/ is the best resource for that kinda thing short of private Dropbox accounts or discord servers.

There was no free release of the main rules. They only rules given out free were army specific ones (such as thre Dark Eldar Wyches), but the core rules still had to be bought in the boxed game. A newly released rulebook includes all of the free material as well.
