Table top ready Empty
PostSubject: Table top ready   Table top ready I_icon_minitimeFri Jun 16 2017, 12:11

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to ask people whats there opinion of table top standard?

and also how long does it take you to get say your average Kabalite warrior to that standard?

Me personally i feel like if its base coated and maybe a wash for shadows its table top ready, although some highlights would be nice too.

Personally i would say table top ready would be a minimum of 2 maybe 3 colours and based. It doesnt take long if you just wanted to do a bas layer, ink and quick highlight

Yes ageee with Anarchistscourge. Base coat and wash for each colour as a minimum, and basing done too. With the new GW basing paints this is very easy to achieve too Smile

Time wise, it doesn't take long at all, the Kabalites you can see in my project log (they are the old kabalites) took around 4-5 hours for the 10. But i think of myself as quite slow and take lots of breaks.
As an average i would guess around 4-6 hours for a squad of 10.
Others may disagree

Squad take about 4 evenings.

Thats an awesome plug there. Bravo. Wink

In my opinion, I'd say "as long as all of the things that look like they should be different look different".
Meaning armour, cloth, weapons, base.
