Played a game today Drukhari vs Necrons. I am very happy with this army and I think it is competitive on its own without Eldar. My community is extremely competitive.
We kept it easy 100 power level game since we both were learning our new armies.
3 patrols= 7CP + Haemonculus warlord trait
Blackheart
Archon
Mandrakes x10
Kabalite warriors with 2 blasters and dark lance
Raider
Kabalite warrior with 2 shredders and dark lance
Raider w/ disentergraders
2x Ravagers with dark lances
Strife
Lilith
Wych x5
Reavers x12 w/ Blasters
Venom
Prophets of flesh
Haemonculi
Wracks 5 man
Groteques x8
Talos x3 in one unit
We rolled a 5 (Little house) for the map we are playing on.
All the characters were on foot.
The Kabalites with shredders were really impressive and killed 7 models turn one.
The Kabalite blasters came out of webway to hit the vehicles.
Mandrakes came in and murdered a squad with shooting then murdered a squad with melee (they have -1 to armor in melee now)
The witches and lilith didnt get to do anything.
Reavers charged infirst turn (I rolled amazing on charge distance and he delployed to closely) and helped to wipe out the 20 man warrior squad.
The talos and groteques running down the field with a 4++ invul. and were all nearly unstoppable. Talos weapons are 2 so my haywire talos are very useful again with the D3 shots per gun now with the melee doing -2 it was pretty glorious. The grotesques ran in and killed a 15 man squad in turn 2 with 5 attacks and -2 to armor saves.
My opponent did not have much left on the field by turn 3. I only lost most of my bikes. I think the 4+ invul on coven units and 6+++ feel no pain on vehilcles really shined this game
