| I'd like to use a Scourge model as the basis for an Archon, but without the wings.
However, without the wings it has two rather obvious slots in its back. Does anyone know of anything that could fit into those slots to hide them (as well as adding decoration)? _________________ - TeenageAngst wrote:

| The big spike things sometimes found on Sybarites, and often seen on Incubi? Or the flags from the Kabalite Warriors set? _________________ Kabal of the Eternal Night | Modelling Blog | The Squidmaster Distractathon | Notes on being an RPG Gamesmaster |

| Yeah, I'd tend to say trophy racks aka the big spiky things seem the obvious solution. Flags never hurt either. _________________ The Title Troupe! - Nom fellow posters for custom titles. | |

| Cheers, guys.
I'd actually run out of the 'trophy racks' parts. However, I did have a pair of Hellglaive blades left over from another conversion. When I cut off the little hook, I found that they worked very well, filling the wing slots perfectly.
(I thought I'd mention this in case anyone else wants to try it.) _________________ - TeenageAngst wrote:

Hah! That's fair. It's still WIP, but this should give you a reasonable idea: (The blades won't be staying that colour - they happened to already be painted silver when I pinched them. ) At a glance, I don't think they look too dissimilar from the Phantasm Grenade Launcher tubes. Anyway, I'm quite pleased with how they turned out. Hopefully they'll blend in a bit more after I paint them. _________________ - TeenageAngst wrote:

| From the lack of replies, I'll go ahead and assume that I'm the only one who likes the aesthetic of these. Oh well. _________________ - TeenageAngst wrote:

| Looks fine, its just a basic conversion (not trying to diminish your work in anyway) so many might not have much to say. Its a good idea and worked well. Many use Scourges for Archons. I have 3 Barons (3 on Bikes also), 7 Archons, 3 Princes due to Corsairs/DE over the years, i used Scourges as well. Here is one of my Barons that uses Scourges legs _________________ New to Blogging, just starting https://maddpaint.blogspot.com/
