Biovores and indirect fire

Interesting question came up in a game tonight.

The Xenos 2 Index errata for Biovores includes:

Xenos 2 errata wrote:: Page 104 – Biovores, Spore Mine Launcher
Insert the following at the end of the rules text:
‘This weapon can target units that are not visible to the
firer, but it cannot be used to fire Overwatch.’

However, the Tyranid Codex doesn't include that text in the Biovore entry and the Tyranids Codex errata doesn't include any reference to indirect fire.

Can the Index errata still apply to a Codex entry?

I'd say no. If it was meant to apply to the codex then it should be in the codex or the relevant errata for that codex.
