Torment Grenade and Deadly Perfectionist

Hi All,

Deadly Perfectionist increases the damage characteristic of weapons by 1.

This means, for example, that a PGL becomes a Assault d3 weapon that deals 2 damage.

This is probably a stretch, but does Deadly Perfectionist also mean that Torment Grenade Stratagem does an additional Mortal Wound on a failed leadership test?

My initial thought is no: first because it's a secondary effect and second because the damage is the result of a Stratagem and not a weapon per se.

Still, it would be nice to make my Archon even more boss.

Your instinct would be right, as the mortal wounds from the stratagem are not a function of damage from the weapon.
