Subject: Domain Name Fundraiser Tue Feb 04 2020, 05:06
Hi all,
We are due to lose the domain name for the forum, this is something which has been free for us due to the popularity of the site but Forumotion has changed their business model which means this now costs us. We have always relied on small donations to remove ads but are looking for 1500 credits (around €15) to keep the domain name for another year.

All I see in the footer is:

EDIT: Noticed that the footer actually changes each time I reload the page- mainly the first link on it changing EDIT 2: Seems to be mainly 'Create a forum with forumation' changing back and forth with 'Free forum' EDIT 3: One load added the links of 'video games' and 'play MMORPG...' FINAL EDIT: The first link changes a lot to variations of creating a forum; 'create forum', 'forum create', 'forum create with forumation' etc.

Ok, i'm going to wait a day or two if you don't mind to make sure you guys are 100% sure its who we need to pay (my wife works in IT, Admins for VPNs, Databases, etc.. i know way to many horror stories lol).

Not to be awkward, but the link is sending me to a page for Premium Options for forums, including removing ads and additional storage. It doesn't have a straight "donate" button.

However, whether it’s my activity or something but the domain name has been secured for another year for free and I’ve also changed the forum over to https which makes it more secure.
Ads will remain (they are not mine, they are forumotions) and the only way to remove them is by paying for a year.

I could make one, a tutorial came up when I was researching donations. You used to be able to contribute but that method looks to have disappeared a long time ago.
I would be able to make a button but would then need to set up a seperate PayPal as I have never looked to profit from this forum.

@Sky Serpent - how much in cash is that 1000 credits? I still haven't worked out how to contribute since they changed it but I'm happy to chip in, even though I'm not around much these days.

As an admin you can go into the admin panel, Misc, credits management and then buy credits. 1000 is about £11.
