With all that is going on in the world right now, I am starting to get bummed out that I cant find a game of 40k.
Way back in 7th, I recall there was a computer program that allowed you to play actual 40k with friends online. Not DOW, but actual 40k.
Does this program still exist? Does anyone know its name?

I remember the program, but not its name. If I recall, it was unofficial and GW slapped it down for copyright infringement.

Apparently a lot of people are using Tabletop Simulator to play 40k. Not tried it myself yet, but could be picking it up soon.

There would definitely be some IP issue with it, would not be surprised if GW got it taken down (dont want to jinx BattleScribe)
Will check out Tabletop Simulator, had not heard of that one before.

YES! Vassal was the name for it.
Checked out Tabletop Simulator, but it appears to be primarily a physics CAD type program, which would require a decent gaming computer to run. Unfortunately my primary opponent does not have access to a modern gaming rig, so time to dig into Vassal
