1500p vs IG?

As the description says what would a army look like if i wanted to crush IG?

Infantry guards, with Chimera transports, they have flamers meltas c4 (or something i cant remember the name).

against infantry guard splinter rifles/cannons/carbines will decimate their sqauds (only 5+sv IIRC)
dark lances will drop the chimeras and wyches will shredd them in close combat.
big guns and ogryns might cause you issues.
but at least against IG Venom blades ROCK! IMO

Without accurate army details it's tough... You will need at least 15 lance shots if you want to out shoot them and keep the vehicles in check but splinter weapons should keep the infantry under control. Flamers are always bad for us so that squad should die asap

yeah its your standard venom spam list. works against just about everything. 20 lances and 13 splinter cannons, a tarpit unit and a tough (for DE) objective holder.
