| Thought i would set this up with a couple of weeks to go. Anyone who listens to Worlds End Radio (and if not - why not?!?! follow the link in my signature! ) will know i have been selected to play Dark Eldar for the Australian Team at this years ETC. The event pits 20+ (26 i think this year) teams of 8 players from around the world against each other over 6 rounds to find the best 40k country for the year. This year, its being held in Poland and is the first year Australia has sent a team. Due to the timing of 6th ed release, the event is playing 5th ed so we all know exactly what units can do. Its 1850 points and 1 force org chart. So - on with the show! Here is the list i am taking... HQ 1: Asdrubael Vect [ X pts] Elites 1: 3 Kabalite Trueborn, 3 Blasters [81 pts] riding in transport 1 Elites 2: 3 Kabalite Trueborn, 3 Blasters [81 pts] riding in transport 2 Elites 3: 5 Incubi, Klaivex Upgrade [125 pts] riding in transport 3 Troops 1: 5 Kabalite Warriors, Blaster [60 pts] riding in transport 4 Troops 2: 5 Kabalite Warriors, Blaster [60 pts] riding in transport 5 Troops 3: 5 Kabalite Warriors, Blaster [60 pts] riding in transport 6 Troops 4: 5 Kabalite Warriors, Blaster [60 pts] riding in transport 7 Troops 5: 5 Kabalite Warriors, Blaster [60 pts] riding in transport 8 Troops 6: 5 Kabalite Warriors, Blaster [60 pts] riding in transport 9 Heavy Support 1: Ravager, Flickerfield [115 pts] Heavy Support 2: Ravager, Flickerfield [115 pts] Heavy Support 3: Ravager, Flickerfield [115 pts] Transport 1: Venom, Splinter cannon upgrade [65 pts] Transport 2: Venom, Splinter cannon upgrade [65 pts] Transport 3: Raider, Flickerfield, Shock Prow, Torment Grenade Launchers [80 pts] Transport 4: Venom, Splinter cannon upgrade [65 pts]] Transport 5: Venom, Splinter cannon upgrade [65 pts] Transport 6: Venom, Splinter cannon upgrade [65 pts] Transport 7: Venom, Splinter cannon upgrade [65 pts] Transport 8: Venom, Splinter cannon upgrade [65 pts] Transport 9: Raider, Flickerfield, Shock Prow, Torment Grenade Launchers [80 pts] TOTAL: [1847 pts] I know the list will raise a couple of questions about the choices but will leave those to be asked Its pretty close to venom spam with my own twist. Most of the other DE lists run a Baron/Hellion blob plus haemonculus, triple blasterborn, triple ravager then wracks in venoms... a couple are running WWP as well! The event is not for a few weeks yet (17-19 August) and i will post pics over the weekend alongside twitter feeds, audio and video via worlds end radio. I will post pics of my army in the next day or so to get the ball rolling! Of course you can expect bat reps as i go as well Anyway - wish me luck! _________________ Objective Secured - Western Australia's Premier 40k Event Organisers and Website OBJECTIVE SECURED

| See, if The Dark City had an awesome T-Shirt for tournaments and stuff we could really turn some heads (although I know Massaen belongs to other forums as welll).
Fantastic, didn't know 40K had an olympics team - looks like I am rooting for the Australians this year!
Good luck and happy hunting Massaen! _________________ - Sorrowshard wrote:

| Little update for you all...
Australia will play... SWEDEN in round 1!
Sweden packs the following lists...
Grey knight (razorback spam with strike knights) Tyranids (stealer shock) Space Wolves (hunters and long fangs) Blood Angels (Jump packs) Necrons (Scarab farm) Imperial Guard (mechanised) Space marines (broad mix - semi mech) Tau (ethereal?!?! plus 9 broadsides, crisis teams and kroot)
So a good solid mix of forces with some very clear team strategy. To me the nids and tau are counter lists with the rest being broad enough to counter or be put up.
If you are keen to know the goings on of the event - You can follow me on twitter @MikeBasc for updates over the weekend as well as pics or check back here though that will be the end of each day if i can get the time _________________ Objective Secured - Western Australia's Premier 40k Event Organisers and Website OBJECTIVE SECURED

| A little Mod vs. Mod action, excellent! It's great that you two will get to meet up, and this should make for one very interesting batrep!
Best of luck to both of you. _________________ Mod Squad Forum rules, please read ................. or else we release the Khymerae! The Serpents' Breath - the Dark Eldar corsair scourge Hive Fleet Void Riven & WIP thread | |

| There has been ETC in 40k since 2008... Poland, Italy, twice in Germany and in Switzerland. And now back to Poland again.
Winners have been: Germany and Poland (two times each I think) and Sweden
