Ah, that makes sense. As I am not too well informed with the tabletop use of a Lhamaean I will section it off with the heading 'Lhamaean background' and have a title beneath it saying 'Lhamaean tabletop.' The tabletop use could go under that.
I know the rules for them but I couldn't recommend how to use them.

I think you should aim for Background, Tabletop (gotta be a better name than that) and Miscellenea.

I don't mean posting directing stats and points but more like 'in 40k, the Lhamaean is a part of the Court of the Archon, she is armed with a blah blah and is generally acknowledged as a reasonable option, blah.' Then when the next codex comes out we can change that by adding a new section etc 'in the 6th edition codex, the lhaemaean became a much less choice due to the three new additions to the court such as the hyperax and the concubite' etc.

In Miscellenea look at adding release date, material and sculptor information.

Does that make sense? Thats my vision for this wiki.

A non-canon section could be added but I dont want annnnnny non canon fiction filtering into any normal entry. I dont see where fan fiction fits in the wiki.

That makes perfect sense, Sky. I will edit it in the morning and add in the extra information.

I also feel the same about the non-cannon. I could always be really strict with the rules for posting non-cannon, as having it join the cannon stuff would ruin things.
How would it work, though? Would it start off with two categories, Cannon and Non-cannon, which would then splinter off into other categories?

I'd just rather kill anything non-canon.

Is this more along the lines of what you were hoping for, Sky? (Sorry for tha lack of information in the Miscellania section, but it was very difficult to find out about the release date.)

Edit: Also, does anybody have any suggestions on what to rename 'Tabletop.' as?

I think for dates you should use the form: "4th of September", as opposed to "fourth of September". It's just clearer.

I would just call tabletop exactly that "Tabletop", sounds better then "on the tabletop", whilst still remaining informative. It also keeps the theme of having a single word describe each section: Background, Tabletop and Miscellaneous.

I think for some reason I've lost admin priviledges or I might be not looking properly, either way theres a lot to get your head round before it is all formatted in the way that I'd like.

Lucky are you up for doing some images specifically for the Wiki?

I'm glad that we're going all gung ho on this.

Yup I saw the old logo being used and not scaled properly. Going to need to start there with a proper header bar. We should be able to add the Commorragh background to the wiki page as well along the sides like the forum. I'm going to need admin status in order to edit everything.

If you guys give me a couple of days on the wiki, I'll look into getting the admin powers back, fiddle a bit and dish out admin status to those who need it.

*breaks his 3rd ed codex out* Im ready to write me some pages. Cavash, would you rather us to pick up random stuff??? or rather would you like to assign pages to atleast get the basic framework done for the wiki???

also shouldnt there be a 4th heading for citations??? or do you just want that part of Miscellenia???

All members of Patron status and above will have admin privileges if they ask for them.

I do find the wiki very confusing, even accessing the admin panel I have problems with and there are so many different configurations for the wiki but once I get my head round it we will be good to go.

Things I want to do/learn.

How to stop guests from editing.
How to really go to town on the theme.
Possibility of removing ads.

Establish a Wiki team and who does what.
Decide how we will go about fleshing out the wiki and linking the pages.

Sky, I need admin status so I can go look at the design options.

Also on the nav bar button, do you want it to say "Wikia" or "Dark Eldar Wikia" or "TDC Wikia"

I think purely Wiki or Wikia will suffice. Have you joined the wiki? I'll look at hooking your status up.

I'll make the button, will it be going exactly where Calendar is now? I need to know cause of aligning the hex pattern behind it.

I've been playing around with the Wiki quite a bit, it seems a lot of HTML editing is needed to edit things such as the navbar.

I've turned off all the different things like polls, chatrooms and achievements as we have no need for those; I've left up the ability to leave comments on articles so that we and others can leave feedback on a particular page.

I'd like all wiki discussion to take place on this forum, in this category.

I edited the theme of the wiki page, added the TDC background and logo to the header bar.

Will get more into it later on, but for now it looks good and matches the forum.
