if memory serves the whole unit would get to use it, which means a unit of 10 wyches would get 10 2+glancing hits vs a land raider Shocked

Is shootin only one, no matter how many models with grenades you have. But in assault all are allowed to use.

Yeah, haywire wyches are very good at taking out tanks. That's the main purpose of wyches this edition.

If I were to have 10 wyches can I just purchase 5? Or do I need to buy 1 for each model in the unit?

so, if I assalt a tank with 5 wyches jumping from a venom I will make 5 attacks with ws4, the hits I will roll the dice for the haywire chart?

Don't forget to thow the one grenade first in the shooting phase. Then you'll hit with 3+ or automaticly depending if the target moved or not last turn (pivot doesn't count as move)

You will make one thrown grenade attack at BS 4, hitting on a 3, and then haywireing

You will then assault, if the enemy tank moved, it is WS one, so you have to hit, if it didnt move, you auto hit.

You then get your Haywires.

Statisticaly, a mobile vehicle takes 4 hits, an immobile vehicle takes 5.667 hits
Those translate in to .667 nothings, .667 pens and 2.667 glances, or, .944 nothings, .944 pens and 3.778 glances

A mobile 3HP vehicle is dead, an immobile 4HP vehicle is dead, you have an outside chance of knocking out a mobile 4HP raider

They, are, FIERCE

If you want to haywire land raiders be sure to bring multiple units, as they will be a target priority for the player controlling the landraider

I dunno, a single wych unit in a venom is unlikely to be anyones priority, at least the first time Smile

But my planned army is built around vemoned wyches Smile

Not the first time, I took a monolith the first time my necron friend ignored them. He doesn't anymore.
Same thing happened to my tau buddy, he blew up the venom that left 3 wyches alive they killed his tank, he shot at them leaving the last girl on her own, she proceeded to throw a grenade at a piranha, which glanced. Then she assaulted it and wrecked the vehicle, his face was a picture!
