Bladevane attacks

Just a quick question and apologies if this has been asked before, but....

Can a unit of jet bikes turbo boost over a unit that is engaged in H2H and still cause blade vane wounds?

I haven't got the codex to hand so apologies if its clear as day, but having an argument at work and would like an answer!?

No, as the rules say "unengaged enemy non vehicle unit" or words to that effect.

It would be cool if DE had a rule where they could attack into a combat and randomise hits between sides. I could see this also being fluffy for Nids and Orks.
