Date: Saturday, 1st of February, 2014

Location: CHOP! (Eagles) Club in North Vancouver
Charity: Philippines Disaster Relief
Prizes: yes.  Prizes donated, but no trophies so that fees can go to disaster relief fund.
Cost: $35.00
Size: up to 30 players
Games and armies:  3 games & 1,500 points for 40K, also Warhammer Fantasy and Warmachine

The Salute convention began as the Vancon Military Fair in 1973 and has run continually since.  The 40K tournament associated with Salute has been running for close to a decade.

Date: Saturday, 5th of April, 2014

Host: Linton Harrison
Location: Bonsor Community Centre, Burnaby
Prizes: prizes and gift certificates randomly drawn for all participants.
Cost: $7.00, plus $20.00 to enter the convention
Size: up to 32 players
Games and armies:  3 games & 1,500 points for 40K, minimum 400 pts of Troops and Transports, no more than 2 of any other unit across all FOC slots, no supplements, dataslates, Escalation, or bulwark fortifications from Stronghold Assault.

Games and armies:  includes Wahammer 40K & Fantasy.  There will be multiple tables open throughout the day for skirmish, 1500 pts, 2000 pts doubles, Stronghold Assault, Escalation, Storm of Magic, Triumph & Treachery, and chariot/racing games for both 40K and WFB.

Size: 1,500 pts, no duplication of any unit type outside of Troops.  All codices, data slates and supplements (except Imperial Knights) are permitted. No allies, Escalation, or Stronghold Assault (except for fortifications released prior to SA). Forgeworld 40k approved stamped units allowed.

Size: 2,000 pts for 40K.  All codices and supplements, paper or electronic are permitted. Escalation will not be included, but Stronghold Assault will be with the exception of the Mighty Bulwark type. One force org., allies and fortifications allowed. Forgeworld 40k approved stamped units allowed
Games and armies:  5 games over 2 days. Also Warhammer Fantasy, Warmachine/Hordes, Malifaux and Flames of War.
