This leaves 240 points - i was trying think of something to deep strike the archon in with.

Should i go true born with blasters in a raider/venom?

Are the Reavers better in one squad of 6, or two squads of 3? If two squads of three, i could pull a RWJF out. Should i max out on my troops choice?

I'd argue a group of 6, as they've become more of an assault unit, and losing a single guy and forcing a ld check right away sucks. Troops are my bread and butter, especially with the gunboat set up. Also Sslyth with the archon can be great, especially with the cost reduction.

The way I see it, the current dex pushes us towards the following

- Cheap troops in raiders to provide cover - deployed as a wall. Jinking and NS for 3+ cover where needed. Everything behind gets 5+ (4+ with NS) without need to jink (looking at Ravagers). This BTW makes the FOC cover bonus absolutely useless.
- Formations from the supplement are so good, that not taking one is a disadvantage.
- WWP is so good that not taking one is a disadvantage. So Grot Bomb, Sslyth Bomb with your archon IMHO
- That antipsyker helmet is almost a no-brainer
- That LD decreasing armour is almost a no-brainer
- Think about that PfP boosting artifact if there is any possible use for you.
- Ravagers are still good, but not as good as before. I wouldnt take 3.

You dont have much to provide cover for, so I would cut down one of the warriors too.

Seems low on anti-tank... But dont know who you play against.

Just quick thoughts.

Easily throw as many more troops you can, and you my friend have a pretty solid list.

I agree with lowering the raider count. The voidraven just seems like such an excellent choice.

Question, where are you puting your archon? I'm assuming with the trueborn for no scatter?

Yeah, thats the plan, so i can take out a knight/wyverns/other prolbem units with a spot on deep strike.

hmm, lowering the raider count, eh? Would you run 3 raiders instead? The only thing i dont like about having a bomber is that i already have so many points in reserve, having the bomber in there two makes a list that is sooo dependant on coming in from dice rolls without manipulation unless i get the right trait

I apologize, I meant lowering the ravager count, leave the troops right where they are.

And you are right, it is a trade off and a little bit more risky. But those 2 razorwings are your only anti air. If they don't come in you are pretty hard pressed. 3 flyers means you're almost garaunteed one turn 2, with a good chamce for 2.
Perhaps consider takings another razorwing instead of the ravagee, since finding points for the bomber will be tough

Hmm, another razorwing isnt alltogether a bad idea. they have the capacity for anti tank and anti infantry, and is a pretty sweet model.
