| I am not sure of the rules on this, Are you able to have a larger unit mounted on a raider say 20, but have half of the unit in the raider but half outside of it in consolidation? if not is there a way to rig it so you can? i have a plan involving a homunculus, Lilith and a court of archon with a wwp. if not ill just drop them without a ride and let the slyth meatsheild for her so on the next round she can do her thing. I know she isnt that great anymore i just want to use her.

| sad face. meat shield bubble it is thanks thor. It will be nice throwing 2 cc beasts and a squad of anti marines in 3 different directions from enemy side. Price heavy but one hell of a distraction for my troops moving up in round 2. | |

| BUt remember you can now buy a transport for a unit that can't fit into it, you just can't embark until they can fit inside. | |

| Do you want to share your plans with us? You said something about Lelith an Haemy and Slyths but I don't get the bigger picture yet. If you want to use the high toughness of Slyths to withstand shooting. You can fill the unit with some Ur-Gul to keep the price down. As long as half of the models have T5 all the unit counts as T5. Just make sure that the models in the front are the right mix between T3 and T5,so you don't lose the majority of T5 to shooting. | |

Where do you see that change? Or are you just meaning one that is not a dedicated transport? | |

| It was the 5th ed DE codex that specifically stopped us from taking Raider DTs with a unit of 11+ troops. In the greater world of 40K no other armies have that restriction, and it is no longer present in our codex. Though I recall reading the exact permission somewhere in the codex as well. | |

| Excellent.....
This coupled with buying venoms and raiders as FA slots means LOTS of extra vehicles now available to us.....

| Oh the plan was to drop in the whole shebang with a WWP and then after surviving a round of shooting assault 3 different ways. the ride was for more survivability and an extra thing on there side causing a headache. | |
