Reaver assault question

I am trying to learn this new codex right now. I am not liking how Reavers turned out... they were one of my favourites, and are still possibly my favourite model. But now.. I dunno.
When I charge with them, if the target unit is in difficult terrain, does this mean they are automatically having to make dangerous terrain tests? I cannot see anything to contradict this, but perhaps I am missing something. If so, I don't think I will ever spend points on them. Or if I do, it will be expressly to go tank hunting.

They have Skilled Rider, so they automatically pass Dangerous Terrain tests. However, they would be at initiative 1 for charging through Difficult Terrain.

Imo Reavers became even more fantastic, they're certainly one of our best units so far. Also, even though they'll hit at initiative 1 through terrain, the majority of their damage will come from their rending S4 HoW hits. And the Caltrops are amazing. d6 S6 rending hits coupled with skilled rider and hit and run.

They can perform well as tank hunters both at range and in assault, and can perform fairly well in assault in general.
