Elite Slot troops with Troops Slot transports?

Ok, so the debate about trueborn being an upgrade of kabalite warriors, and therefore still being "Kabalite Warriors" seems to have concluded that they are, indeed, warriors still.

My question is this. If warriors are allowed to take a dedicated transport and do so, but then also upgrade to trueborn, is the transport considered a troop slot vehicle, or an elite-slot vehicle?

Dedicated transports are considered to have the same battlefield role as the unit they are dedicated to.

Warriors with the Trueborn upgrade are Elites.
So are their transports.
