| Cut my finger at work pretty badly yesterday with a razorblade. Blood all over and a really bad pain starting, i thought: idiot! instantly a phrase went on and on in my head, Power from pain, Power from pain, Power from pain... suddenly i looked at the finger and it wasn't as bad, almost good anyone here had similar experience or have i just been reading too much of DE stuff lately | |

| I had my collarbone broken in a judo match. Carried on fighting (FnP). Lunged into groundwork (furious charge). Lost (Fearless?). Cycled 4 miles home in the rain. Knew it was broken. Went to the hospital, waited 6 hours in A&E, got told its broken and sent home (Rage).

| I was in the imperial guard (army) My Rhino was hit by a krak missile (IED) causing a crew shaken and stunned. We failed leadership and ran off board. (ignored it and kept driving) afterwards when i went to leave the vehicle i realized my legs no longer work (37 fractures. Technically shattered.) Ill see if i can dig up the xrays. | |

Holy Crap! You didn't even notice your legs? To paraphrase the great Zaphod Beeblebrox "10 out of 10 for bravery but like, minus several million out of ten for observation!" Seriously though, hats off to you Sir!

Ouch! The human brain is surprising me every day more and more. How your body is able to ignore pain during a certain amount of time as a self preservation reflex.

| oh they hurtt like hell the second i saw them lol. the doc said its actually common to not feel a break or fracture immediately. I guess there numb for a bit. he said boxers actually use that to fight. they break there hand in a match and use the broken hand to go all out because they cant feel it. I dont know if that's true though. | |

| I mean, I've always thought of PfP being our power from others' pain. This isn't like being in an exploding tank, but still...
I was making an old fashioned on wednesday night for a bar biff who nitpicked and complained the entire time. It was sort of like being shot at by a lasgun that's heard of more than one bourbon. I shook it off. FNP!
Eventually I asked if he'd like to make me one at his place of work sometime? (Rage, fearless!) He doesn't even. I am smug. 4+ FNP.
Finally I sent him on his way with his drink, which he loved! For some reason that made me angrier than anything. Then I watched him get brutally kb'd by a lovely looking lady, and he spent the rest of the night buying increasingly cheap, sad beers.
2++ satisfaction. | |

| Ah, a fellow Dark Kin mixologist! I oftentimes consider myself some way into becoming a haemonculus, mixing various concoctions to befuddle my foes (it's staff vs customers, so it is, so shall it be evermore). Plus, my names Merlin (yes, really, no, I didn't change it) so I'm known as the bar wizard. Because originality right?
Anyway, on topic. I recently discovered I'd been working in this trade for years with a shoulder impingement, thus making shaking cocktails an agonising experience. But you suck it up, keep going and smile, cos you can't show weakness, or no tip!
