| I was wondering, with our new codex and coven suplement, what is your one unit you always have in your army, the one unit that you never leave behind. One unit you just love, either because you have painted very well og just love playing with or never leaves you down. Or what ever the reason. (Besides venoms because they seem to be an auto include in every army).
Mine is the scourges... I just love the models!! They are so beautiful! And in the new codex they are great. When I first painted them (2 years ago) I fell in love with them and pretty much used in every game. Not allways with good results but they just have to be there.

| 10 warriors in a raider, variable builds depending on opponent these tireless workhorses bear the brunt off many tactical mistakes i make while playing They were my first 5 edition unit painted and defined the colour scheme for the rest of the kabal | |

| Yup, raider gunboat (or two). Say what you like about venoms but I like having 20 twin linked rapid fire splinter rifles dropping in on turn 2 (or 3, or 4...) and still having bodies that can pile into combat if necessary late in the game. | |

| Scourge for me every time, I just love the models so much. With the 5th Ed codex, I really wanted to bring them, but didn't 'cause they were too expensive and unwieldy. Now I can take 5 Scourge with 4 Haywire Blasters, I don't think I'll ever leave them at home. | |

I managed this at club night once with all my infantry - left the carry case in my garage and took all my vehicles. That was an annoying 45 minute round-trip to fetch them back!

| We all have a 'best' unit... its good to hear that I am not the only one. My scourges have become my good luck charm... | |

| I never leave home without Fluffy the Ur-Ghul HQ!
... I'm kidding. I'm deeply in love with Scourges just like everyone else. They're the reason for my desire to play DE and they've only given me more reason to have more of them with the new book.

| I too enjoy some incubi in nearly every game, but my always-take is Reavers. I've loved them in many different incarnations, and I think this new one might be my favourite yet.
I was so convinced that with all the loving 5e Reavers got that Archons on jetbikes were going to be a thing again that I built one about a week before the codex came out. Now I just have a ridiculously overblown arena champ on a 3e classic spikebike. He looks sweet though.

| It became Grotesques for me, I bought four of them, didn't really like their appearance, and kind of shelved them in favor of incubi.
Then one day I decided, eh, what the hell let me try grots in place of incubi. I had so much fun rampaging around the board smashing everything I repainted them green with purple shorts, like the incredible hulk. Never left them since. I think the only time they ever fail me is against heavy psykers, like Grey Knights. They're also the units that gave me my first victory over Tau.

| Reavers.
I just really like the bikes and my local group is in utter fear of them.

| The inestimable Reaver Jetbikes.
Got my first three from one of those kids with more money than sense (or maybe recently divorced parents desperate to buy his love) who had them going spare, and after lopping off heads and zooming around the board like the T4 5+ save badasses they are, added them to my permanent roster.
The new changes have forced me to rethink how best to use them, but those sleek (and cheap!)models are still my go-to fast attack choice. Heat Lances to the face, Cluster Caltrop anything that survives!

| Grotesques and now Wracks. My opponents have learned to fear my spearhead attack of Grotesques that they have to deal with while the rest of my army draws closer.
Since the new book dropped, my opponents have began to cuss me out for bring Ossefactors. I've had some good dice rolls in a couple of games but if they catch a unit outside of a transport, they get removed quickly once targeted.

| My blasterborn in a venom. I just love how they are painted and they always seem to live up to being show-offs | |

| My haemonculi is probably the answer. I Enjoy having my HQ be a supportive role as opposed to trying to support the HQ. Although this is going to change with not being able to run 3 in a slot anymore. Oh well still love them. | |

| I always take my Archon and his 4 Incubi bffs in a venom. It was the first model I painted when I converted to DE and I spent an awful long time on him. When they pop out the opponants face just drops as he knows those terminators are going down. However, he seems to be struggling in his old age now and the incubi definitely do the most work, perhaps he will find himself an Archite Glaive and receive a counts as succubus sex change! | |

| For me its the Archon. Reavers, Incubi, Wyches they are interchangeable but the Archon with Shadowfield is a must in every list... and unfortunately he's rocking an agonizer as opposed to a huskblade but the dude still has a place in my lists. I'm gonna be rocking him with a WWP, Wraithblades and an Autarch with banshee mask and soulshrive who's gonna my Archon's BFF and I think it gonna be nasty. Gonna be tricky to run but majority T6 Archon with 2++??? Yes please | |

| Mine is mandrakes These are ridiculous good as a threat to anything midfield Takes to much to remove them for the opponent to even try with range unless ignore cover. But even then wast shots at them or my X2 grots and incubi in his/her face. Love seeing them getting a face lift to be viable. Oops before anyone says grots are the formation. | |

| Talos! Wooo! I've got two, but the first one I painted is king. Back in 6th he showed up to all of my DE Matches and soaked a lot of firepower meant for my Raiders, then failed two or three consecutive 5" charges before being popped like a big angry bug. Now in 7th he soaks EVEN more firepower and hasn't taken a single wound yet, and has earned more kills than any model in my army other than my Liquifier Gun Grots. | |
