Here's a list I made on the fly the other night to take into the local store while I learn the strategies of the new codex.
Archon w/agonizer and shadow field
Haemonculous w/ hex rifle
5 Incubi
10 wracks
5 Trueborn w/ 2 splinter cannon and 3 shard carbine
10 Wyches w/ Hekatrix and agonizer along with 2 hydra gauntlet Wyches
Carbon copy of above unit
10 warriors w/ splinter cannon
Carbon copy of above unit
6 raiders w/ flicker field
Venom w/ 2 splinter cannon
It comes out to roughly a 1500 point all comers list.
Performance wise, I ended up against a guard player who built his army to fight mine. I was facing lots of Chimeras, tanks and a couple of Valkeries on a table with a half decent amount of terrain in an objectives mission.
Unfortunately for me, my dark lances weren't hitting anything the first couple of turns and I was getting shot up fairly well.
Fortunately for me, it was an objectives mission, and the flicker fields were doing sterling work keeping the raider die off rate far lower than it would have been.
There was really nothing my venom and Trueborn could do, so I jetted them behind one piece of terrain or the other.
At games end, I went full out with my last raider of Wyches into one objective, while the Venom and crew contested another. The wracks and few remaining warriors contested the third, netting me the tie.
I'll be trying this list out another time or two in small games to get a feel for the new rules before adding more and different units, although I'm in the process of making more venoms and converting some Grotesques.
