| So I know Hellions have gone the at of the Dino's but here's a knew way to use em.
Beast master squad- 12 beast masters all with agonisers.
Test it see how it runs, mine violated three squads of marines and a wraith knight so far!

| they'd have to be played almost defensively, from their poor armor/cover, and might be a points sink for all of those 25pt agonisers, but anything to drop wraithknights is good! someone give some math hammer on this with charges, FC, Drugs, and such? i got a blood angels player who loves massive blobs of assault marines (especially when he makes his blobs or Imperial Knight invisible!) | |

| huh... 5 beastmasters with agonisers are 175. Thats 10 attacks on charge and 5 afterwards with measly staying power... For those points you can take fully kited Archon, Squad of Incubi in Raider... rly dont see any point. | |

| Thats 35 Points for an t3 agonizer. Allthough they have benefits. They can't fly, but they can move fast, pass terrain tests and wont get slowed down by it. And as normal hellions hit with higher strenght, beastmaster are ap3 and wound on 4, makes them more reliable.
But they suffer the same problem as hellions, they lack attacks and survivability. With t3 and 5+ armor they die horribly fast. And as hellions have their two handed weapon (and ironically another close-combat weapon) beastmaster only have a single combat weapon which will be traded against an agonizer. Thus they only have one attack each and two if attacking.
Beastmaster also have no hit+run nor combat drugs or the ability to deepstrike.
So, are 12 beastmasters really worth the cost of 420 points? I doubt..

| Ehmm...one use i see for them.
65 points, no upgrades, no nothing. Deepstrike to the direction of your atack. Place in such a way as to beg opponen to atack it. Waste some atack, die, let more valuable unit live. Or be ignored and do some damage.
About the same as 3 man Mandraks squad.
