So I've been dark eldar for a month so far and I've been seeing a lot on posts and stuff on why warriors are so good. I'm confused with warriors about what they should take and why they are so good. I'm also confused on why they are such a big thing. Don't get me wrong they are great I love them. But still I need so help with the confusion and also need some help on how they are run. I see a lot of people do gun boats or venoms. Also what's os good about Trueborn/ Blasterborn.

Its simple - you only have 2 troops choices, and thats either Warrior or Wych. And its Warrior.

They are very versatile, they have mobility in their transport, they are able to hurt absolutely any foe in the game with the combination of poison and blaster. Lastly they are a cheap points wise.

Either you will be taking raider or venom, both are good and serve purpose.

They are core and backbone of any force. I prefer 5 man squad with blasters, so i have 4 squads in venoms and 2 more in raiders.

Blasterborn are good becuase they are basicly the warriors that can take 4 blasters, and blaster is a very good weapon. It can hurt tanks and heavy infantry and monstruous creatures.

Not mentioning they are getting S4 on charge from the T4 up and Rage in T6. Which actually makes their assault better than their shooting on MEQ or TEQ or GEQ from T4 up and gets you close enough for contesting objectives.

Also a 20-warrior blob in cover with 2 Dark Lances are much more durable than Ravager.

I am currently receeding from Blasterborn as they are too fragile for my taste, having only 18'' range. However again - 2 Dark Lances, 5 Trueborn in a Raider. Raider can Jink, while the lances still shoot full BS. You can split them to have 2 targets. Deploy only Trueborn and keep Raider reserved...

Warriors and Trueborn have loads of tactical options. Don't limit yourself to just what you see most commonly used on the internet and you will see their value.
