How do Dark Eldar cope with Horde Armies??

I love my dark eldar to pieces.. but I'm a little weary I'm going to be a little downtrodden when I lose my first few games with them, as I'm not only new to DE, but this ed of 40k. 

I can see how dark eldar can best vehicles, 3+ armour saves, and the like, even though I think I'll struggle with tactical play initially. But as for horde, we don't seem to have that many multiple shots/blasts outside of splinter cannons, and our paper fliers? I'm more then likely being ignorant as I've never really looked into playing against a horde army, but since my friend is considering Tyranids with the new drop pods, it looks like that's a new threat! 5 str 4 ap 5 Ord blasts. That's insane!

If you want more anti-horde, you could always run some scourges with shredders or something. I tend to have lots and lots of poison shots though and those usually do just fine against hordes of enemies as well.

You mentioned the razorwing jetfighters as well and I can tell you I always bring 2 of them now. Those missile barrages can easily wipe out even the largest of units. I think my best round was inflicting 21 wounds on a unit of pink horrors from one razorwing.

I would agree, we don't.
That said - I think that qualifies as two ways to deal with horde right there.

In my experience, vs Orks: Two Razorwings firing ALL their missiles as soon as soon as they arrive will obliterate two huge infantry blobs instantly. I make sure to prioritise dealing with my opponent's anti-air on turn one.

Identify targets as per normal.
Apply splinter fire to blob until its ability to function offensively has been crippled. Missile and Dark Scythe blasts also work wonders.

That said, the most productive way to deal with a horde is to use its mass against itself. By pulling the center to the right (or left), you disrupt much of the army's shooting.

Refused flank works wonders. The horde's advantage is, as the name would suggest, in its numbers. If you can prevent them from using the numbers by not being near half their army, you can lessen that part of their edge.

Would you guys suggest the same plan of action against Ork biker armies? They are currently the pain in my back.

You can't hide from them as easily - but massed poison and blasters will eat a hole in them pretty quickly.
