Well, possibly you've already heard about this, but I know there are several people here who might like to try their hand at it. It's a bit of a strange time of year for it, but there it is. From GW's email:

"Calling all aspiring writers.

The Black Library submissions window for 2014/15 is now open.

We're looking for new writers to contribute to our huge selection of Warhammer fiction, so if you've ever fancied yourself an author, grab your servo-quill and ink and get writing!

This year the theme is 'The Deathwatch', so send us your short stories featuring the ebon-clad alien-hunting specialists of the Ordo Xenos."

We've got the talent here ... if you don't mind writing a tale about the lesser races
