500 points for Escalation League

Hail filthy Archons !
After painting for a while I've decided to build a DE army. Because I'm a novice, I'll play 500 pts at my GW. Actually I've 5 incubi and 10 kabalites, that's all.

Here is my first draft for 503 pts :

So you can see what I plan to buy, but nothing it's carved into stone.
I want to try cluster to disturb and the gunboat with kabalite+raider+splinter rack to see how it works. Also want to see how Succubus and incubi in a venom fight.

Warriors in a Raider with Splinter Racks are nothing to sneeze at. They form the bulk of my Kabal lists. You might consider Night Shields, for the 3+ Jink. Keep in mind that Jinking doesn't affect the embarked warriors.

You'll probably get some arguments against the Incubi (some of them pretty cogent, too), but I still enjoy them, and find them pretty effective.

Your list is pretty slim on anti-armor. You might be okay for now, but it's something to bear in mind going into the future.

Personally, I'm kind of down on the Succubus, and prefer an Archon, but that's largely a personal preference issue I think.

I love the nightsheild but for a 500 pts I thought it was too expensive for my paper boat.
Concerning incubi, well, I've got 5 of them, so let's try.
I'll love playing 5 trueborns with 4 blasters in a venom but again it's dam expensive for 500 pts game.
Concerning the succubus, I'm not sure. A lot of gamers prefere Archon for this kind of mini game. But if I choose an Archon, I should buy the shadow field and it's very exprensive too, that's why I prefere succubus.
Well, it's hard to make a good list with just 500 pts...

Just bought the old detachment bundle with the three reavers. Now I can have a better mix up.
Tell me about this roster. Too classic maybe? Any advices?
I want the Archon with the incubi in a venom to see what kind of damage they can deal. I want to drop my gunboat as a bait in middle while outflanking with venoms. No really anti vehicles units but I could add at the splinter racks a dark lance. Dunno.

I really want to try caltrops against infantry

I'm used to play small point games (we play games from 500 to 1000 points usually) and IMHO i will drop witches and archon in favour of kabalite warriors and succubus. Both the venoms should be really go with double splinter cannon, too Good to consider any other option.
And on the reaver go with caltrops, they are really the best way to use these jetbikes. Stay cheap on the succubus, glaive, armour of misery and haywire Grenades. On final note, think about a kabalite with splinter cannon on your gunboat if have some spare points
