A Question About Craftworld Eldar...

This thought randomly occured to me browsing for fanfics that were decent, and I was wondering, what would Craftworlder or Exodite do if they found a baby human all by itself?
I already know what the Dark Eldar would do...XP

I guess they would do what Spartans did with their "deformed or weak newborns". Left in the woods, to die in natural way.

Really I would have thought they'd at least drop it off on a Human controlled planet at least? Kind of what you'd do to a kitten you found on the streets, or should at least...

Problem is that most Eldar don't see humans as pets, but more as pests.

Yeah, you would drop a kitten or a puppy of at a sanctuary, but would you do the same for a sewer rat, or a cockroach?

I see your point, Eldars are all around jerks, no matter what type they are...

Exodites would just kill it, to let a human sully their world is something that can never be excused. Craftworlders would either let it be, or if they are the more vengful bunch (Im looking at you Biel-Tan) They would also kill them. Eldar just overall dislike humans, and see them as a nessicary evil.

Never saw them in any books of Black Library or Codexes.

I can see it happen that an Eldar scientist adopting the child. But that is a tad Brighthammy for me, and it would be more science, less love. It would be to study to human, maybe even have it in a zoo (assuming such a thing exist in WH40K. pf course.

I'm basing that on the Norwegian chimp Julius, his mother dismissed him at birth, so he was raised by humans until the day he was just promptly put into his cage and just zooed. The entire prospect of this would be study and other not very loving stuff. Honestly the kid would be better off dead. Of course the zoo and family raising the chimp earned unimaginable amounts of money do to Julius.

What you have to consider is that Eldar don't just "stumble onto" humans, they always have a purpose when we meet, or the humans have their own intentions. In all likelihood, they'll either be dealing with rogue traders or some branch of the Imperial Military, both of which are more than likely armed and possibly hostile, not to mention that they wouldn't be carting children around. OR they could find the baby during a raid (Corsairs have to make bank somehow) and if that is the case, they probably wouldn't bother. A baby is a non threat, its just an animal to them. CW Eldar aren't dark Eldar, they won't kill a baby just because they found it, it's a waste of effort.
