Shadows in Nothingness - raiders and nightmares

I love my dark eldar. In all their forms, they are the most appealing faction to me in Warhammer 40k. I have played them a lot on the tabletop and now it is time to expand my love for them beyond the basic real space raids.
The dark kin are a fleet - based race you could say. As such, a game like battle fleet gothic really helps enhance this vision of them.
This thread is to give me a purpose as I learn how to play with the dark eldar in this specialist game. It is also an inspiration to allow me to continue to build and grow my hobby.
As my journeys to perfection in the past, this series will be based on 20 games, I shall play them, post them here and analyze them. Follow to learn more about this game and the newances of playing with toy space ships! I shall also look and explore tactics and more.

Looking forward to reading this! I always liked the idea of BFG and was disappointed when they dropped it.

Sadly although I've got a friend who has the rules and is willing to teach, I don't have the funds to start a fleet right now.

You should make a DE fleet then - they are kitbash friendly out of your bitz box.
