Lhamean over Wyches

10 of each in a raider. I know they are both probably quite a bad choice, but I wonder what you guys think of the difference between the 2 units. Same cost

Same cost, both have PfP, Fleet and Night Vision. Wyches +1 Init and -1 Ld but Lhameans have 5+ save and a 2+ poisoned melee weapon. Wyches have Dodge, Combat Drugs and Grenades though.

To answer my own question, some maths.

Assaulting Wyches vs MEQ unsaved wounds

No (useful) drugs - 1.65
Str drug - 2.5
WS drug - 2.2
Extra attack drug - 2.2

Lhameans - 4.17

That's that pretty much decided for me then.

The old incubi were some of the only models I liked in the old DE range... I wish the new ones looked a bit more like them. The new ones are still good.

I think the old model range really split people down the middle, there's very few people I know who are indifferent to them, they either love them, or hate them. I'm in the latte category, which is why I'm a 2010 onwards DE player!

Hm, last time I checked, I had 4, or 5, in their original packaging in some moving box. But not sure, where that is, though...

Well there are more things to consider. Grenades are a big issue for the Lhameans, as there die easier then wyches in CC and do not benefit from there own damage output, as the 4.17 marines can still hit before they die.
So it really comes down to the situation.
But that does not mean that the Lhameans as aren't a great choice for there point costs ;-)

I have a nice collection of the old Vect Incubi... Those were my favorite models from the old and current range! I dig the cloaks they wore.
