Well have an old necron force. But they basically got an overhaul and I haven't kept up. Don't plan on using anything for an ally. But I will buy a vampire hunter slap 4-6 Dark Scythes and some missiles on it if I have to.

Geez depending on what happens with these harlequins I might need a whole other force organization chart and slap in all the harlequins. As if my dang army wasn't big enough.

Hello I'm a plastic crack addict. :-D There's *always* room for just that one more though - you could start off with just a basic chart again though - keep it simple - at least to start with!

Already put my pre-order in for Solitaire - to go along with my full Assassin squad - well they are *kind* of similar in roles from what i've read

No doubt I'll also get the Harly codex/dataslate/supplement and take a view at that point if I like the look of any of the other models

Lol. Hilarious. But I don't know much about the vampire hunter. Was going to see if instead of its arsenal maybe slap 6 dark scythes and 4 necrotoxin missles on it. Wonder if that would look good?

It looks like it comes with quite some dakka already - not sure you could quite get *all that firepower underneath the model without spoiling some of the look of it, you'd also need some nifty way of mounting those missiles - just my humble $0.02.

Mind you also just found out the wingspan is in the order of 18-20 inches! so maybe more room than first appears

Would appear the rules for it are in the Imperial Armour Apoc edition - you'd need to look into that book in order to see if it can take those weapons - if that is you want to use it in competitions - if not - world's ya oyster, fill ya boots

I'm not concerned with what it can take. I'm dark eldar. I'll just do it anyway. Lmao. It would just be for collection. If its good enough maybe convince forge world to do it for Dark Eldar...who knows. Would be a nice lord of war that we tend to not have.

Well Dark Eldar are technically webway pirates...and I don't know any pirates that wouldn't go after a massive ship and customize it to their liking. I also haven't heard any rumors of them fighting fair...lol.

Definitely all bets off in DE warmanship...

And I mean if the Haemonculus can craft grots and wracks into whatever they want to, as they see fit, then why should'nt there also be Haemonculi that can use their modifying talents in a more engineering mechanical kind of way as well - kind of like Ork's - but in *soo* much more of a refined way...

Well I don't understand why we don't have like a Lord of War Uber Grotesque. Or like a slaanesh model and label her some kind of ultimate succubus. With the new Razorwing and Voidraven models..it must be easier to craft for forgeworld. The Vampire Hunter looks as if its a similar design.

Not knowing too much about the Lords of War aspects but doing some quick research, it kind of feels like to me they wanted to keep the Dark Eldar quite lean and fast paced around the board.

LoW models however by their nature seem to go against that, ie slow moving/lumbering types - i could be very much mistaken as there may be some LoW's that are in fact aligned to the DE type of movement - I'm really not overly familiar...

I wonder what other ideas for models were turned down by GW, would be interesting to see...

Yes the hunter does look very similar right at the front - i think it also looks quite close to the wave serpent in terms of the grabbing type style on the front of the wings - maybe...

for some reason I also really like the two tail fins, really like that design aspect...

Lol. True. But the Hunter is considered a LoW. So they don't have to be slow and lumbering. Would just like some sort of enclosed Tantalus with an AV of at least 12...and some heavy firepower.
