Dark Eldar Corsairs

Here is my warband of spacefaring Dark Eldar Corsairs.

We begin with their Leader, Archon Lessei ''Mohawk'' Moondancer



Dracon Lassitae ''Firehand'' Starfi



Both Moondancer and Starfi


The Sadistic and Wild warriors of this warband:

''Serpent Squadrons'' (Warriors)



''Dragon Squadrons'' (Wyches)






These are the most elite warriors armed with supercharged chainsaw bayonets, the better to drench themselves in the fresh blood of thier dying enemies:



All warriors in this souless, evil murderhost are beyond insane. They constantly wander the milky way, ravaging Rogue Trader ships and Hive Worlds. They trade millions of Slaves each year in the ports of Commorragh to the Kabals, Cults and Covens in exchange for raw materials, webway routes and strange, otherworldly coin.

Those warriors that fail Moondancer are given over to his personal Haemonculi to be transformed into rampaging Grotesques:

And the occasional Commorrite Mercenary:


A small portion of the Warband:


All units in this Strike force are no more than 5 or 6 warriors strong and use Venoms exclusively to transport themselves swiftly across alien battlefields.

Hell yeah! Love this project man. The classic models look great as do the newer Corsairs. I absolutley love the camo patterns on the heads... so old school but so rocking. Are these guys Steeleye Reavers? Or a corsair warband of your own devising?

Thanks! and no, they're my own warband. Actually they are still Dark Eldar since they originated from Commorragh. I wanted my DE to still be a sadistic band of warriors, but with a traditional, neutral eldar raider look.

btw i've seen your log, you have some awesome corsairs too!

Oh man, I've seen these on the Oldhammer(?) site. Too cool! Really takes me back, almost enough to paint the few remaining ones that I have left from back then

yeah,i posted them on Oldhammer forums not too long ago. I love these old sculpts they had alot of character lol Swifteye is currently being used as a Solitaire, it's crazy fun.

Love what you did with the helmets. They remind of back when I started playing. They all have a lot character thats missing from a lot of armies including mine. Impressive job! Thanks for sharing
