1500pts Dark Eldar Back to Basics.

Hello all,

I have a tournament coming up in march which is 1500pts.
All armies must be from one codex, use the Combined Arms Detachment. No allies, no fortifications, no lords of war.

So I have the below which I've play tested once against Chaos Marines which just chewed through with minimal loses.

I am thinking of dropping the incubi, the blasters and the mandrakes. But unsure what to replace them with.

Possibly another razorwing or maybe grotesques.

Thoughts please.

The Succubus matches well with the incubi because of their ap2 abilities, which is a good combo. The main thing I'm learning about this unit, however, is that they do well vs a specific target, where Grotesques can go up against a bit more variety. Ive been messing with the court of the archon recently and really like what the Sslyth have to offer too. Lastly, I only have one razorwing, but proxied a second in a 1500pt list recently, it was awesome. I'm a big fan of raining down missiles. What 4 missiles can do, 8 can do better

Play testing this list I found the incubi and succubus took the hits first, which can only be to the benefit of the talos as they sweep in targeting vehicles using the scourges as support while advancing towards a unit to assault.

Grotesques I've found are more of a wound sponge, as for damage output they've been very poor while high in attacks the AP- tends to really drag the output down.

Lets try this...

i like the Grotesques with a hq like sucubus to deal good damage for them im marines or terminator but even without her they can do a nice job if you put them againts low saves troops or good shooting units that you dont want shooting everi turn and with a bit of lucky you can kill montrous creatures and multy wounds with them.

Ditch the dissy ravager and armour of misery and add another warrior squad in venom and a fourth incubi. I do like your second list better than the first btw
