| I'm a new dark eldar player with only 4 games under my belt. However, I did a lot of research before I started collecting and I have to say, it certainly paid off in my opinion. Based on the units I thought were freakin sweet, and what I found was working well for others, I came up with this list. Its around 1350 Points with a few upgrades. This is also not just a list, but the units I have purchased and assembled/painted. I'm looking for opinions of this list and any other recommendations for making it 1500pts and then 1850pts. What I have so far had worked tremendously well. I have played grey knights and orks so far, and haven't lost a single game in 4 games. 1 of the games I let the grey knights player use 1450 Points because he just had to field 10 paladins. SO he was 100 points over what I had. I did it for a challenge and Yea I still won. We have a new gaming group, there is about 10 of us building up new armies and whatnot, so we haven't really played at set 1000,1500,or 1850 pt standards. Usually one of them buys a new unit and is really excited to play it so we just build a list and try to match points as much as possible. In a few weeks however, we are all going to be around 1850 points or more, so the normal point games are about to start for us. That's why I need some help. What I got, 1385pts: x1 Archon- agonizer, soul trap, shadowfield x1 Haemonculus - WWP, liquefier (Goes with scourges) x4 Incubi, upgrade 1 to Klaivex (goes with archon inside a venom) x5 scourges - 4 haywire blasters, no other upgrades x5 kabalites - 1 blaster, sybarite with haywire x5 kabalites - 1 blaster, sybarite with haywire x10 kabalites - 1 dark lance, no other upgrades X10 lhyches, yes lhyches. Wyches I use as lhamaeans. Same cost as a wych but poison 2+ (In the raider) x3 Venoms extra splinter cannon (5 man kabalites and the incubi and archon go in these) x1 Raider - dark lance x1 Ravager - 3 Dark lance x1 Razorwing jetfighter - 2 Dark lance Only thing not mechanized is my 10 man kabalite squad which I practically use for objectives and the extra DL. Scourges always make their points back, blowing up one key target, causing a distraction, before getting taken out. - anywho, im not going to rant about how I use this list, because you should be able to tell by just looking at it. BUT, whats your opinion of it, and what do you suggest I add to make this list 1500 and then 1750-1850. IMO, I'm thinking talos, more ravagers, or a grotesquerie from coven book? Thanks.

| You know I was actually thinking about that yesterday funny enough. Haywires are 24 inch range. So even if I deep striked 12 inches away from everything to be safe , and even scattered the full 2d6, I'd still be in range. No need for wwp anymore huh. One thing I did however with the wwp was get so close that the scourges would pop like an ork truck, then the haemy would liquify the contents.

| Hi Iawlskees,
I'm interested to hear something about the Lhameans in your games. What units did they fight against and what was their results? | |

| K, so I played a game last night against orks again and let's just say he threw some serious cheese at me. I used his cheese to my advantage however. He Used a formation with 1 warboss and 10 units of boys... Then making them all one unit. So a warboss, 2 docs, , 2 psychers, and there was like 10 nobs. It was a huge unit of like 100 freakin orkS. He rolled da jump.... On his psychic ability, allowing him to then redeploy his 100 man blob of green skin shinnanigans on my side of the board. I went first and I also rolled labyrinthine cunning, allowing me to reroll all my reserves. I send me flyer in, unleashing all 4 monoscythes and killed 42 ork boys in the second turn after he jumped all his crap to my deployment in a giant messy blob. Lmao! He then proceeded with more cheese, rolling 3 d6 for charge distances... REROLLInG! Well... To make a longer story short... He almost beat me... I tried tying him up with my warriors, lyches, scourges... Incubi... But he just pretty much swarmed through them. My archon killed his warboss in a challenge, and after a cat and mouse with all my vehicles I killed the entire unit at the end of turn 5 giving me 11 victory points because that's the orks detachment rule. If it's killed it awards 11 points. Honestly the lhamaeans aren't to great. 30 attacks 2+ is appealing when looking in the book, but their garbage armor save compared to wyches 4+ invul makes lhams way less survivable. If you use lhams... Send them into a unit you know for sure they will win against. Against 60+ hordes, no way. So my record stands now at 5-0. | |

| If I do the court in the future, I'm going to do ssllyth hands down. 2 wounds and toughness 5 is a lot better. A lot! I'm just going to use bare bones no upgrade wyches from now on... Maybe just the agonizer on the hexatrix for some killyness but that's it. Just because I have the models and love how they look. I won't be buying anymore wyches and will now proceed with more kabalites in venoms. At first I really didn't want to run a spammy list...but seeing as some of the stupidity and cheese lists that people actually bring themselves to play, There is going to be no freakin mercy from me from now on. Nothin is a better feeling then winning against against a bogus list though, with a mediocre one. | |

| 1st turn I just flat out all my vehicles in cover. No shooting. His first turn he jumped and shot. My second turn all my reserves came in. Then the flyer did the 4 templates. Scourges shot, all my venoms... My ravager... My raider. It was insane | |
