Now, I have to say that I think MOBAs are crappy, but I do like what I can see so far.

Slaughtering other slave races and having some fun in our dark arenas? Hey, why not.
It has a grim and intersting look to it and I might try it when it comes out.

Seen so much complaint for so many different kinds of new 40k games purely for disliking the genre or the feel of the game (especially on chess regicide, also probably this one) and some weird reason that games like these keep away DoW3 and Space Marine 2.
Just be happy there are 40k games... so many different genres is only enriching the universe!

Definitely keeping an eye on this one.

ive been quite enjoying Heroes of the Storm, blizzards new moba, but generally im not a huge fan but this will at the least be entertaining because of the setting

the company that did Dawn of War is sadly no more so no DoW 3 unless someone picks up the ip again

The recent GW licensed games were pretty abysmal. So excuse me if I don't get excited about this one before I get to see some gameplay.

there is some pre alpha testing gameplay available but keeping in mind it is a pre alpha build it will of course not be a whole lot like the final product
the recent ipad and phone 40k games have been ... lackluster... but the pc ones have been decent

Looks fun, I just hope that Dark Eldar will be included in the game and not just the usual suspects.

Dont worry though the studio responsible for crafting our gladitorial arena has one other game under there belt, something called dark nexus arena......... oh. But dont worry according to there business page they have veterans. of what i don't know but they got em.

I want to root for this game because the setting but its entering competition in an already saturated market AND against blizzards new one at that. I wish em luck there gonna need it.

Have you seen the "Sit and talk" of miniwargaming where Mat is aksed about what 40k game he could imagine and he sayd something about an gladiator game in the arenas of commorragh?

Using this setting is obviously good and I am excited!

Will be interesting to see how this is designed. With any luck, Wyches will be true to the fluff instead of the tabletop.

according to them their veterans are experienced and successful, but you know we cant tell you what they did successfully just that they were.


But on a Wych cult note I can imagine one dark eldar unit thats has to be confirmed for the game.

Right? There's about 50 mobile games starring Space Marines right now... you can't have 1 with Dark Eldar as an optional race. Come on...

I heavily doubt that all starting races have been shown already. I'm not sure if it's going to be a Moba or something slightly else but such games can only live when you have enough heroes/veterans to choose from.

Everything has merely been a teaser so far and we have yet to see things like gameplay and how the heroes actually play.

It's somewhat understandable that we have to lure the slave races first before we can charge in with our Wyches and Arena Champtions

If you look at the Veterans sections, they have icons for each of the armies - including Sisters of Battle and Inquisition as separate entries - they've simply only unveiled the three least interesting so far.

They'll probably unveil Dark Eldar last since we're the headline act.

guys guys calm down it is still in alpha builds if not earlier at the moment there is a very long way to go before it is a finished game

Oh, but I am fully aware of that. And while the factions imply that every faction will be present, we already know of 5 heroes for 3 factions. As stated, 12 veterans will be available.

Therefore, not all 12 factions can be present, I assume that some are just placeholer for veterans which or might not be added in the future (or just to give the impression that every faction will be present).

You can't judge me for being sceptical about DE related content, can you?
