Tantalus worth it at 1850.

I love the model and I might get one regardless, but you think it holds up for its 200+ points? I was planning to fill my last HS slot with it as transport a Grot unit + character (as opposed to a Raider). It would require me to drop one of my two Razorwings.
You think it is worth it? I am a big fan of the fly-by attacks and 3+ save when jinking with Nightshields.
Thoughts?

I think at 1850 it could hold its own.

Check out the thread I started a while back about Tantalus tactics in the newest edition. Keep in mind that while it's a lot of fun and I believe it can make it's points back, it's not a competitive choice. Also keep in mind that with unit of grots and an IC inside, you have a roughly 300-400 point enormous paper-mache target. The 3+ jink is great but 10-12 AV isn't doing you any favors. I highly recommend that you either run the IC as a dirt-cheap Haem or Succubus, or kit them out and give them a webway portal, if you're deepstriking.
