| - Spoiler:
In The Talon of Horus, there is a dark eldar character Neferati, who was forced to leave Commoragh due to an unknown event under threat of death; this would be no big deal except for the fact that she decides to hide WITHIN THE EYE OF TERROR, which they do mention, drains the eldar soul much quicker than the rest of realspace, and yet all that seems to be evident is that Neferati gets a little angry. This starkly compare to the 'Path of' series, which often refers to characters feeling their souls chiselling away, after mere hours in realspace, much less the eye of terror. there is the fact that Neferati is a dead puppet, being held together by psychic glue, yet shouldn't make her soul deplete faster? so if the BL is all canonical, we can conclude that losing your soul is akin to a mildly annoying headache

| The Black Library is not canonical. Half the Black Library stuff I've read has directly contradicted the lore laid out in the army books. | |

| Her first (I believe) introduction shows you how ill she has become, and it seems to me like she was a bit more than a little angry Also: - Spoiler:
There is the whole part about her being connected with the sorcerer. It's not made overly clear but I think it will be elaborated on in the coming books in the Black Legion series.
