I played a game last fortnight vs BA and my opponent had a bad couple of turns and threw the towel in early. He could have turned things around if he had not become all cranky and sullen. This kind of behaviour is no fun for anybody involved and honestly I don't want to play him again.

Clawing back a victory or even a draw from the jaws of defeat makes for some of the most memorable games I've ever played. I've learned to laugh at my misfortunes and always look for a way to win no matter how bleak things seem not just for myself but for my opponent.

It is all good Skari, at least you had fun. Though I never thought I would see the day you got completely tabled. I must say your brother had some great shooting and your dice hated you.

I don't blame anyone for giving up on a lost cause. A game requires a huge time investment and nobody wants to spend half an hour chasing around "oh, you can totally still win, you just have to cap 4 objectives with 3 mostly dead units while hoping my flyer self destructs and I decide to mercifully not shoot anything with my gunline that has three times as many points as your army".

It happens to the best of us. Its always hard to finish a game when u know it's just not going your way. I always play till the end because I know my time will come. Unless time is a factor. But that goes both ways. These games do take a while. For every time I have been utterly destroyed, I have dished it out too. At the end of the day, its a game, and a game of chance at that.
