| I've been toying with a weapon option for Ravagers and Razorwings. Not sure on the points cost, but would be interested in people's thoughts.
Heavy Haywire Blaster. Range: 36". Strength 4. AP 4. Heavy 2, Haywire.
It'd give our air-to-air a much needed boost and would actually make sense with the schizophrenic loadout for the Razorwing, with the HHB giving it AV while the Splinter Cannon deals with biological threats.

| For the sake of army unity, what would you think about letting them take Void Storm Projectors? | |

| There is a heavy version in the harlequin army (haywire cannon). It is blast and inferior to the normal special weapon:

| I don't think that making Storm Vortex weapons generally available is good... except possibly on the void raven... as it canonically requires the entire vehicle built around it. Rapid-fire haywire on the other hand would give our fighters a shot against enemy aircraft (something they badly need). | |

| I think blast makes more sense that rapid fire, since that is how haywire fields are described as working. I could definitely see giving the vehicle more than one haywire weapon, though. (They have two lances, after all.) | |

| Blast for haywire isn't good, since 9 times out of 10 what you're doing is making it less accurate for no benefit. After all, haywire is only good against vehicles and you'll rarely be catching multiple vehicles in a normal blast. It also means no Air-to-Air.
I'd be down with Haywire Missiles or Bombs with large blasts or bigger though.

| I'd definitely be down with large blasts. But are you sure about it being less accurate? 1/3 of the time you get a solid hit, and even when it scatters (if your target is a vehicle) a 3" average scatter isn't going to put you completely off of most vehicles, I wouldn't think. (I haven't crunched all the math involved, I'm just going off the top of my head, and really just curious.) | |

| Not sure. I know that back when my Fire Prism was shooting blasts as an AT option I always wished it was direct fire. | |
