| In older editions of our codex, Lady Malys had an "encounter" with a warp entity of some description and has its heart, or a portion of it, within her. I'm not sure where I've seen it but there have been rumours/suggestions that it is part of Cegorach... Anyone shed anymore light on this? @Lady Malys  | |

| It has been flat out stated as the Laughing God thanks to Codex: Harlequins - if you look under the Veiled Path writeup. Basically it appears to be part of a plan for him to use her to dismantle Vect's power enough to, perhaps, help pop open the 'death portal to the Warp'' that the DE keep in their basement for some gawd-awful reason. This probably is part of his plan to get Slaanesh to expend too much of her power at once trying to nom-nom Commoragh. Evidence outside of the flat out confirmation is all the stuff about her and the Harlies, and the laughter bits, also meeting a warp entity that *didn't* want to just nom a Dark Eldar | |

| Thanks for the explanation @Thor665  Love the "nom nom", hopefully that won't be happening... Opening Khaine's Gate may well further Cegorach's plans to bring about the rise of Ynnead, but in the main DE codex it says agents of Malys and Vect are fighting each other each worried the other is trying to open it. I'm off to murder some folk in realspace. Far, far less headaches than trying to work out the subterfuge of ex-lovers. | |

| see i just presumed it was a greater daemon of tzeentch which is why it challenged her to a game of riddles and then laughed as it "lost" as it was all just as planned to gain a foothold into the dark city.
but i havent read the fluff for harlequins yet... been lazy recently | |

| I missed this! But now I'm here ... someone got there first I will say that I originally thought that a Greater Daemon of Tzeentch was the answer. Talking to Helvexis I was then convinced that something to do with the Laughing God was afoot. Exactly what ... well, who knows. Now it has been flatly confirmed that yep, Cegorach. Hmmm.
