can reavers deep strike?

No they cannot, unless joined by some other unit that confers that ability to them, such as an IC with a WWP.

thanks yeah I thought not, (just wishing they could ) Just that deep strike is mentioned twice in the bike/jetbike page of the rulebook (title description and elder jetbike turbo -boosting bit) had me wondering had I missed something.

your IC with a WWP example made me lol - pic formed in my head of archon deepstriking with reavers only to be left behind as reavers turbo-boosting away, leaving him stranded screaming "Jerks!!" reavers laughing as they drive off " thanks for the ride bossman!"

then a second thought then entered head - wait a minute, why can't an archon have his own ride!!?? (Bloody elder can get a jetbike not problem Autach, farseer hell even a bloody warlock can! WTF GW!

I was confused by this, since their rules specifically mention arriving by deep strike.

Just had a crazy thought - could you put 3 reavers in a raider and then deepstrike them in?

No. Only Infantry can embark on vehicles.

thanks, thought so. Would be a kinda cool vehicle though, deep strikes/zooms in carrying 6 reavers. Like a dark elder aircraft carrier (like a storm raven)

I think you can ally in a corsair prince, and deep strike them with his special rule. If the rumors are true and they get new rules he might even join them on a bike. He'll be a hefty tax if you take him for only that purpose though.

Deep striking reavers via a wwp archon is a valid strategy. Think former beast pack glory days of when eldrad/karandras etc joined the pack. The slingshot effects of pile in and hit and run (or even consolidate) really mitigate the lower movement value of an infantry IC.
