the more I read out army list, the more I think our list has an answer for any opponent possible.

Although we don't have really any D strength weaponry, nor a extremely wide variety of weaponry, I think pointwise we can hang with most armies.

an Ork Stompa for example, the amount of firepower it has is ridiculous, but we can still take it out. If I remember its nearly 700 points, a Lanced out Ravager at 140 points, we could have about 5 Dark Lance Ravagers per 1 single Stompa. 15 Dark lances firing upon this unit could be devestating, although if it were to go first it could probably wipe the floor with the Ravagers, if we went first we would only need a roll of 3 to glance. anything else penetrates, Lance types make the AV of anything above 12 as just 12.

I figure with many other combo's like 2 voidraven 2 ravager, if the stompa went first it would have to choose between skyfire or not, the amount of fire and its Hull points is still outgunning our units tenfold, but still, our units shouldn't have issues taking it down.


For enemy monstrous creatures and such, poison just decimates, in a recent game, a squad of a single Kabalite warrior, that was leftover, managed to land 2 wounds on a Hive Tyrant and finish it off. Although its rare, large and terrifying units like that can be taken out easily.


I am going off of mostly speculation and somewhat of rare instances that I've experienced. But I still do feel like we have an answer to most enemy units. Although we should have higher strength weaponry, we do have answers.. anyone else have some insight?

I'm curious as to what you think our answer to Gargantuan Creatures like the Wraithknight is.

Also, what would be our answer to massed vehicles (e.g. the multitude of Rhinos, Razorbacks and Drop Pods that a double Gladius Strike Force can put out)?

1. Allies with Psychic Shriek or Mirror of Minds coupled with our abundant Ld negatives.

2. Tears and recriminations.

For real: we have some decent anti vehicle, but we can't bring enough to bear to contend with massed armor lists, which are crazy easy to field these days.

I kind of got the impression that the OP was talking about pure DE. Hence the comment about us not having D weapons.
