| Much as I'd like a nice-looking army, I really loathe painting.
So, does anyone know any nice paint schemes for Dark Eldar that are also fast/simple to do?

| Dark Eldar are generally some of the most difficult miniatures to paint. But I have seen a relatively easy paint style for the armor (that looks awesome) if that's what you're after:
1. Base with Leadbelcher. 2. Shade with Carroburg Crimson or Druchi Violet. 3. Highlight with Runefang Steel.
Though you can pick any shade you want really, and if you want to make them a part of a pre-existing Kabal you could go with Lords of the Iron Thorn

XD Yeah the best advice I could give anyone is to make sure you LOVE your paint scheme, as it will get tedious after a while. Any pictures?

| GW has been showing us the "lazy way" since the 5th Ed codex came out. Just look at some of their poster armies.
Kabal of the Black Heart: Black with green edges.
Cult of Strife: Same as above.
Kabal of the Poisoned Tongue: Black with blue edges.
Kabal of the Broken Seal: Black with purple edges.
Prophets of Flesh: Black with grey edges.

| Take a grey a base like administratum grey. slap on some blue wash(pushing the wash up into the crevices). drybrush with a lighter blue (mid tone blue.. can't remember the name - like old school ultramarine blue). Paint the weapons black and drybrush grey to pick out the edges.

| I did something interesting and easy with alternating spray primers. I based them in fully in black then just barely dusted them with (mostly) purple, green, and yellow to give them a nebulous look.
Fluff wise, my raiders pop in and out of nebulae to attack planets and trade routes. To them this would be camouflage.
I'm no painter though and have absolutely no idea where to go from here.

| For me there isnt lazy paintig without the word - airbrush. That is definition of lazy painting. _________________ The Dance of Death begins - embraces, caresses, and kisses, The Harlequin loves you as you fall over in pieces!

I don't actually own an airbrush, though it sounds like I should get one. Anyway, can you actually do much with them? I mean, it seems like you'd trying to paint a model with some spray cans.

| Yeah, you can do much. Better in fact then 70% people around without putting too much effort. And there is no way in commoragh i would paint vehicles with normal brush.
When i first painted Raider my thoughts was - wow, looking good, and its this simple? 15 mins for entire Raider ? _________________ The Dance of Death begins - embraces, caresses, and kisses, The Harlequin loves you as you fall over in pieces!
